Our History

Atelier du Bracelet Parisien is a team, a family on three generations. The founder, Jean-Claude PERRIN, is still very famous in the world of the watchstraps because he has launched or develop the two most important high market watchbands companies dedicated to prestigious Swiss watch companies : CAMILLE FOURNET and CREATIONS JEAN-CLAUDE PERRIN.

Indeed, Jean-Claude PERRIN marries in 1966 Régine FOURNET (niece of the founder of Camille Fournet brand), and both leave their native Champagne region to settle down in Paris in order to join the family company where Jean-Claude will become the General Manager. Afterward, the couple leaves CAMILLE FOURNET to launch their own brand CREATIONS JEAN-CLAUDE PERRIN, which has been sold two decades later.

After this industrial experience in the production of high grade watch straps, Jean-Claude PERRIN decided to dedicate his leather straps skills to his passion : traditional production watchbands.

So he turned himself to the private and individual watch collectors market and decided to create in 1997 a small Parisian workshop near the Place Vendôme with a concept unique in the world. Amateurs and watch lovers can come to compose their watchband among fifty different leathers and tannings, hundreds of colors for leathers and stitching, and most of all choose exactly the place in the skin which will be used to realize their straps.

The concept quickly became successful, and soon, Jean-Claude bring with him his wife Regine, his son Yann, his brothers in law Dominique and Pierre, and a strong team of skilled craftmen.
